I just saw DeNiro in an AmEx commercial the other day. When big bux are involved, these celebs can't resist. Wouldn't it be nice if teachers were paid what top billing celebs were paid and actors were paid what teachers are currently paid?

So what, once they've won an award they shouldn't sully themselves with commercials?

A job's a job. Actors careers can be notoriously short, especially when they get up in years. It's stupid to not cash in when you can.

And more actors, "esteemed" or not, do commercial work than you think. Nicholson, De Niro and other noteworthies have done ads in Europe and Japan for decades.

Tara,..its all about face time and money.

People like CZ Jones aren't doing it for $$$ as much as they're doing it to keep themselves in the consciousness of the American people.

Also, remember, many of these "stars" also do ads in foreign countries, most of which we never see over here.
