Damn the Special Edition 2 Disc DVD's
Urghh I hate that the minute I buy a DVD the studio comes out with a special 2 disc special edition with bonus features that the DVD I just bought does not have.

It happened first with Unforgiven:

And then Singing in the Rain and now one of my favorite movies, The Philadelphia Story.

Now, Meet the Parents and Mulan too! I wish they would just get it right the first time, so I don't have to go out and buy two versions of the same DVD like a sucker.

Has this happened to you?

Oh tell me about it, try the whole Lord Of The Rings series. Those special editions just sit there and tempt me....buy me buy me - watch extra footage.

Of course I could just go to Blockbuster and rent the Special Edition and watch it once.

Your right I could do the same but I wouldn't own the extra footage and that's what gets me that I have the B version of the DVD set.

It's all a conspiracy I tell ya. How many copies of Boogie Nights or The Matrix have they released??? Its the regular version, the Directors Cut, the Unrated version and then the super duper all the extras and nothing could possibly be better than this one we promise version (at least till we need to generate another few million).
We are lab rats in a box pressing the little lever. More bad acting more flubs more interviews with actors to prove they couldn't have a real job...

Yeah I love them to, but you have to wonder.
