Yeah, but can they flush and put down the seat?

A Burmese cat named 'Doogal' is seen in this combo picture as it sits on a toilet in Sydney on May 3, 2005. Doogal's owner, Jo Lapidge, invented a toilet training system for cats called the 'Litter-Kwitter.' Lapidge said she was inspired by the cat 'Mr Jinks' in the Hollywood film 'Meet the Fockers,' and invented the toilet training system. (REUTERS) (read more).

Strangers in the Night
On Jane Street under pink magnolia trees:
Friend: You ever wonder how many times we have walked around this island?
Me: In Super Size Me it says the average New Yorker walks about 9 to 13 miles a day, that's 2,500/3,000 steps.
Friend: Really?
Me: So it said.
Friend: You ever think about if we've passed a future boyfriend or husband with all the people we pass in those "3,000" steps a day?
Me: Not really, I'm usually thinking if one day I'll be living in one of the beautiful apartments that I pass. Like the ones with built in bookshelves that you can see through the windows when their curtains are up. Or one with beautiful stone walk-up steps. Will it have a view of the Hudson--
Friend: or the East river?
Both: *sigh*
Me: ha ha, I'm such a romantic.
Friend: (laughs) Practical. The apartment will probably be around longer than a lover.
Me: Especially if it's rent control.

Sample Sale
I happened upon a sample sale today near my apartment and impulsively bought a gold sparkly clutch handbag. It's like the photo on the right but in gold. Although, I almost bought the pink one, but I figured I already own a lot of pink stuff, which I guess would have then matched the pink clutch... but I bought the gold one so no matter. I think it will be a fun summer night bag. I'm not used to having a bag without a strap though, so after the price I just paid, I better not leave it on a bar counter.

Before I entered the sample sale, I said to my friend, do not let me buy another purse cuz that's the last thing I need. Yeah, so much for that. When we were leaving she goes, 'oh yeah, I wasn't supposed to let you buy a purse.' lol

Rain drops kept falling on my head
I just got back from running, well jogging, in the rain during the 8th Annual Revlon 5K for prevention, education and support for women's cancers. I raised $95 this year!

It was miserable out though, but it was still kind of fun being in the rain with my friends. I completed the 3.1 mile run in 45 mins, but I believe if I wasn't dodging puddles and huge golf umbrellas I could have done it a little bit quicker than that. I actually have a scratch on my arm from someone's stupid umbrella, I don't see why they even bothered carrying one. My pants were wet from my sneakers up to my knees, my pretty pink team shirt was soaked and a puddle collected on top of my hat. You should have seen us on the subway going back to my place to warm up, lol.

Thank you Jennifer at What Would Jen Do for donating and to all my friends that did too. :)

Altar Boyz: Off-Broadway
Last night my friend Mike was kind enough to bring me to the awesome off-Broadway show, Altar Boyz. It's SO funny!! It's about a group of singers from Ohio who form a pop-group and go across the country to cleanse evil souls and preach about God or as they say G.O.D.

Each character embodies a certian archetype of a pop-star. There is the Justin Timberlake leader, the Enrique Iglesias/Ricky Martin guy, the rapping white dude, the still in-the-closet Clay Aiken type (who stole the show), and the talented Jewish song writer and singer with wacky gelled hair. Each one was amazing!

The songs were very original and hilarious, as well as the corny choreography that mocks N'Sync and other boy bands while putting in Catholic gestures.

One song is called, "Girl You Make Me Want to Wait" (which he sings to a woman picked out of the audience) and "Jesus, Called Me On My Cell Phone."

The theater is on 50th Street so it's not that far off Broadway and its an amazing space. Very modern, like you are going to an art gallery.

I enjoyed the show from the minute they walked out on stage and I urge everyone to go see it if they have the chance. Tickets are pretty reasonable too.

Review: N'Sync meets Nunsense, with the apostles of pop: Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham!
