Mr. Sabatiello serves up superb Italian food with garlic knots and brio. Ask about the day's specials and you're likely to hear an encomium to fettucini alfredo. Inquire about the lasagna and Mr. Sabatiello rants like a spatula-packing rapper. "Lasagna eh? Let me tell you something, this lasagna's unbelievable! You never had it this good!" This kind of pride is all too often missing at most restaurants, where they seemingly slap Ragu on a round piece of bread and sell it as a pie. Most of all, the man's boasts are usually correct. Sabatiello's food--especially the pizza and the mushroom penne--is fantastic.
