Weekend Getaway

I'm heading to my cousin's place in Pt. Pleasant on the New Jersey Shore for the weekend. Will hang out on the beach, eat fried oreos on the boardwalk and sit on my dad's bench. I didn't get to go last summer, so I'm really looking forward to it. I can smell the cotton candy and salty smelling wood planks already.

Also can I just say that I'm lovin the Night Court marathon on TV Land.

Hope that you had a great time in Pt. Pleasant. What a super hot weekend it was in the Northeast. Thanks again for the NY bar suggestions. J and I had a great time. We went to Cafeteria and White Horse. Fun, fun, fun. Next time, I will go up there alone, though. I love NYC and having an uptight, selfish travelling partner didn't allow me to get to all of the recommendations....*sigh*.

Gary you haven't lived until you had some fried oreos, they are like zeppolies (fried dough) with a melted oreo inside. The chocolate and the cream and the dough all go together so wondefully. *sigh* The italian festas in New York sometimes sell them.

Glad you had a good time and got to go to some of the restaurants/bars that I reccomended. Let me know if you need some more advice the next time you visit. Especially if you are going alone, I could suggest some shopping sites :)
